Florida to benefit from AstraZeneca settlement

Florida’s Medicaid program will receive more than $4.25 million as part of a $520 million global settlement with AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP. The settlement resolves allegations that the company illegally marketed Seroquel for uses not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
